I am a professional dancer, dance teacher and choreographer currently based in London. I trained at The Urdang Academy in Covent Garden and after completing a Diploma in Performing Arts and Dance went on to study at The London Contemporary Dance School.
After finishing formal education I landed a teaching job at Ravenscourt Theatre School (RTS) and found a real passion for teaching, I gained my Diploma in Teaching in The Life-Long Learning Sector (DTLLS) later through the British Ballet Organization (BBO).
I have been lucky enough in my career to have performed, taught and choreographed all over the world, including Dubai, China, Portugal and Australia, as well as in London and all over the UK, with many amazing performers, choreographers and companies. This has given me a very broad scope of the industry.
After many years of performing and teaching I wanted to take a bit more control of my career and so started my own projects, first entering ‘Resolution!’ at The Place and then going on to choreograph, direct and produce an original musical, ‘Finding Christmas’ in 2009. Also I have started up dance classes for both children and adults, whereby I now run a Performing Arts School for 3-18 year olds and teach professional classes at Dance Attic as well as teaching for various schools and colleges around London.
Below is a showreel of some of my choreographic work, including clips from my professional classes, sections of my musical ‘Finding Christmas’, a kids TV show I was involved with in Australia and a number I choreographed on tour in China. I have trained and work in many different styles including Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical Jazz, Street and Ballroom and try and fuse all of the best parts of these styles together to create my work.
